Recollections From My Life As An Art Dealer, by Walter H. Klinkhoff

 

Many of the stories related here are known to family and friends who have heard them repeatedly.  Nevertheless, they too joined the chorus urging me to write this informal collection of reminiscences before memory fades.  Now that we are writing "1993", with my experiences in this field going back to 1949, I have finally taken a little time to do what I have so frequently been encouraged to do.  I hope it will be found interesting, or at least entertaining.
